The market had sea salt products. None of them dealt with what salt actually does to hair.
Sea salt texturizers have been a fixture in men's grooming for years, but the formulas haven't kept up. The same sodium chloride that builds grip and structure draws moisture out of the hair shaft — and most products stop there, leaving hair brittle over time.
New Wave was built to solve that specific problem, not to add another product to the shelf.
The Formula
Built around what salt actually does to hair.
Sodium chloride creates grip by disrupting hydrogen bonds in the hair shaft — but that same mechanism pulls water from the cortex outward. Most products apply conditioning agents to the surface only, which doesn't address what's happening inside the strand. New Wave incorporates avocado oil, one of the few oils small enough to penetrate the cortex, paired with Vitamin E to stabilize the lipid layer. Grip and hydration at the same time — not a tradeoff between them.
Strips moisture
Sodium chloride creates grip by pulling water from the cortex outward. Most products stop here.
Surface coat only
Conditioning agents sit on top. They don't address what's happening inside the strand.
Cortex-level repair
Avocado oil penetrates the cortex. Vitamin E seals the lipid layer. Texture without the dryness.

The Standard
"The formula has to justify itself on a chemical level, not a marketing one."
If a claim can't be traced to a mechanism, it doesn't go on the label. Every future product gets the same process — barber-tested, return-rate verified, and built around what the hair actually needs.
